Creamy Korma

This feeds 3 hungry people or 4 if having side dishes.

Serve with rice (1/2 cup per person)

Paste

  1. Blend everything until as smooth as possible (the smoother the better the curry texture).

Raita

  1. Stir everything together

Korma

  1. Heat the oil in a pan until very hot, then add spice mix 1 for 10 secs until aromatic.
  2. Add onion to pan and cook until browned, then turn down heat.
  3. Add paste and mix for 3-4 mins.
  4. Add spice mix 2 for 30 secs.
  5. Add tomato paste.
  6. Add spice mix 3 along with any meat, cream or additional liquid that you think it needs. If a vegetarian option then can use small chopped sweet potato or normal potatoes with beans / chick peas / lentils, but add these later on so they do not completely dissolve.
  7. Simmer on low for 25 minutes
  8. Serve with raita and rice
