Flat breads

makes 8.

Using avocado oil made the flatbreads softer and more flexible; Using butter instead made them crispier and less flexible.

If no milk is available, water can be used.

Wrapped in a tea towel, they stayed hot for 20 minutes.

  1. Add flour and salt to a bowl and mix together.
  2. Add avocado oil and warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into 8 pieces.
  5. Roll each piece to fit the size of a small pan.
  6. Cook each flatbread in a hot dry pan until golden spots appear on both sides.
  7. Wrap cooked flatbreads in a tea towel to keep warm and soft.
