Dry chicken wings

These crispy dry-rubbed chicken wings use a simple flour and spice mixture to create a flavorful crust without the need for deep frying.

  1. Preheat oven to 190°F (88°C).
  2. Mix the flour, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pour olive oil into a separate bowl.
  4. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  5. Rub the chicken wings with olive oil, then dredge them in the flour and spice mixture to coat fully.
  6. Line oven trays with parchment paper and spread the wings out evenly.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, then turn the wings over.
  8. After another 20 minutes, turn them back over and continue baking for another 10 minutes or until fully crisp.
