Beef Risotto

Not suitable for microwave

  1. Heat butter in pan
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook, stirring, until onion is soft
  3. Add mince, cook, stirring, until mince is browned
  4. Stir in crumbled stock cubes, water, undrained crushed tomatoes, paste and rice.
  5. Bring to boil, simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until almost all liquid is absorbed.
  6. Add peas, cover, cook until rice is tender.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in basil and half the cheese.
  8. Serve sprinkled with remaining cheese.
